Early Life & Experiences
Gary grew up as a third-generation member of his family on a 200-acre farm located in rural Kentucky. This agricultural background provided him with a strong foundation and appreciation for the land from an early age. After completing his Associate of Science degree through the University of Kentucky, Gary made the decision to relocate to Florida, where he would continue to build his career and contribute to the field of landscape and environmental management. He is also a State licensed Certified Pest Control Operator with knowledge that complements his background. Gary has completed the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Lighting Seminar for Marine Turtle Exterior Lighting.
Landscape Advisor to Give Kids the World
Gary has previously served as a volunteer Landscape Advisor Committee Member for Give Kids the World, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and located in Kissimmee, Florida. In this role, he contributed his time to support the organization’s mission, assisting with landscape planning and maintenance to enhance a welcoming and nurturing environment for children and their families.
Published Research
In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Doyle has contributed to the academic community. His research, titled “Leaf & Stem Production of Pruned Mangrove 1994,” was published in the proceedings of the Florida State Horticulture Society in 1997. This scientific research was presented to support the 1996 Mangrove Trimming and Preservation Act, and highlights his ongoing commitment to advancing knowledge in the fields of environmental management.

Mr. Doyle has served as a consultant for environmental regulations for the Town of Indian River Shores, Florida (ZIP code 32963). In this capacity, he played a significant role for the development and enforcement of key local ordinances focused on the preservation and sustainability of the area’s natural resources.
Tree Protection Ordinance
The Tree Protection Ordinance was one of the earliest adopted in Florida and designed to safeguard established trees and native vegetation. Water Conservation Ordinance
He has also contributed to the Water Conservation Ordinance, which governs the design of landscapes, drainage and irrigation systems. Jungle Trail Preservation Ordinance
Mr. Doyle developed the Jungle Trail Preservation Ordinance, which is dedicated to protecting the landscape environment along the historic Indian River lagoon dirt roadway. This ordinance ensures that the scenic and ecological integrity of this unique area is preserved, allowing residents and visitors to continue enjoying its natural beauty. Native plantings historically established between Sebastian and Ft. Pierce inlets are utilized.
